Since 2008, Oluwadara (Dara) Johnson has been working to improve educational opportunities for the underprivileged children in Nigeria via Project Unveil, a social enterprise that she founded, which uses performing arts to empower and educate “at-risk” girls through an intensive summer camp and complementary after-school program. Dara was interviewed by the Nigerian Tribune in September, 2009, and featured in the Harvard Magazine and Harvard Crimson for her work with Project Unveil.
